Universe Factions:
Dawn of Light:
Tyrannical theocracy from the Delta quadrant. The first intergalactic expedition from Earth,
they had a failure in communications with Earth Prime and believed they had
been left to die. Extremely religious
zealots and intolerant of other groups.
They take on a conquer and convert style warfare and have no qualms
about killing any that don’t believe in their creed.
Dusk Haven:
Technocrats from the Epsilon quadrant.
The second intergalactic expedition from Earth. They left Earth with a much higher level of
technology than the Dawn of Light. They believe in transforming humanity
through superior technology. They attach
cybernetic enhancements to the point of unrecognizable humanity. Rumors of hive mind development.
Earth Prime:
A failing civilization from Earth in the Alpha quadrant. The remnants of earth have been torn apart
but inner conflict due to overpopulation and loss of resources. Resorted to raiding travel lines between
other factions for resources. Their
space fleet consists of stolen ships patched together from different parts.
Agents of Entropy:
A shadow group from Earth Prime that is bent on destroying all of
humanity. They see Earth Prime as a
failure to the galaxy and want to stop humanity from spreading its failure
throughout the universe. Late in the
game we learn they are being manipulated by alien/demons from an alternate
dimension.
Main Character:
Lieutenant Arden:
Lt. Arden stood out among the other students at the Dawn of Light
Academy on their home planet Solus as a motivated and by the book soldier. Being nephew to a Grand Admiral didn’t hurt
either. He achieved the rank Luietenant
straight out of academy and was being groomed by Papal Guard to rise through
the ranks. It wasn’t until he fell into a forbidden love with a priestess that
he realized the fascist and dominating nature of the world he had been brought
into. When his tryst is discovered by
his best friend and reported to the Papal Guard they decide to hush it up, but
to make sure Arden gets the point they hold a trial and execution of the
priestess in front of his eyes. After
this Lt. Arden flees Solus and ends up at the dingy space pirate outpost,
Tortuga 5. After months of drinking away
his pain he decides that the only thing left to do is seek vengeance on the
empire he once believed in. But first,
he needed a ship and a crew.
The crew will be interchangeable mercenaries from
Tortuga 5 that have different abilities

– Williamson fled punishment from the
Dawn of Light
after
being reprimanded for drunk on duty too often.
Medic: Aprax
– Aprax is one of the few Earth
Prime lifers that actually
made
it to old age, probably due to his medical skills.
MD74
– MD-74 was used by Dusk Haven
to exterminate their
enemies,
but has been reprogrammed for medicine.
Barnabus
– A civilized gentleman from Dusk
Haven, he has been
barred
from medicine due to "unethical" surgeries.
Melee: Matilda
– Matilda was removed from the
Dusk Haven Mech
Lancer
Division for destructive behavior.
Opal
– Opal was taught blade
work by the Dawn of Light, but
she
never truly believed their doctrines.
Bear
– A rough and tumble
mercenary from Earth Prime.
Don't
get on his bad side.

in a factory on E.P.
As
a merc you get to blow stuff up!
Opsum
– Opsum always had a way of
blending in with the
crowds
of E.P. , that’s why he's a great pickpocket.
Pans
– Pans not human.

The
Fury is a four man pirate space ship Lt. Arden won in a card game. The ship can hold Lt. Arden and three of his
interchangeable crew. It can get to any
planet in a quadrant but has to use worm holes to skip between the three
quadrants.

Levels:
Tortuga Main, Side: The
bar the game starts in. This map has all
the crew members, a bartender, and the bounty list.
The Fury: Arden’s
ship gets the player to all the bounties.
It is parked in the airfield when the player is on Earth
Prime. The map has a medbay, crew
quarters, engineering
corner, and pilot deck. The pilot deck is
where the player plugs
in their current bounty.
Dusk Embassy: A
one room embassy that showcases the Dusk Haven culture and answers the player’s questions about the group.
Dawn Embassy: A
one room embassy that showcases the Dawn of Light culture and answers the player’s questions about
the group.
Prime Embassy: A
one room embassy that showcases the Earth Prime culture and answers the player’s questions about the
group.
Earth Prime: This
map showcases the dilapidated state Earth has been left in the future. Earth Prime houses the main bar, the three
embassies, and the two cartel hangouts. On the western side is the connection to the
airfield.
Neon Cartel: This
map is a one room casino that the Neon Cartel runs.
Shadow Cartel: This
map is a one room storage lot that the Shadow Cartel runs.
Airfield: The
airfield houses the players space ship and is occasionally populated with thugs and scorpions.
Servo Bounty: The
bounty map for Servo Silvan is a ship to ship battle showcasing the eclectic collection of the Dusk
Haven armada. The map is populated with Dusk Haven
cyborgs, spider-bots, and dangle corpses with Servo Silvan as the boss.
Kamus Bounty: The
bounty map for General Kamus is a Dawn of Light bunker clearing mission that showcases the militaristic
nature of the group. The map is populated
with Dawn of Light grunt, inquisitors and slave soldiers with General
Kamus as the boss.
Fink Bounty, Fink Room: The bounty map for Freddie Fink is an abandoned Earth Prime town that has been overrun
by mercenaries, heavy gunners, and mutant scorpions. The map showcases the dilapidated state of
the town
and the environment with Freddie Fink hiding in a building that requires C4 to get into.
